        Chlorinity and salinity, the composition of sea water, the characteristic of thermodynamics of sea water, the geochemical balance of sea water, gases in sea water, analytical chemistry of sea water, carbonate system, nutrients, organics in sea water, basic productivity, the interface of the ocean, marine pollution.

C. Course Goal:

    Increase students’ overall concept of chemical oceanography.
