   B. Course Summary:

           Earlier considered as disaster prevention, so construction of the rigid coastal structures. How to transition from the traditional coastal protection policies into both marine conservation, tourism and marine management. To deliver prevention, water and ecological environment of coexistence of the coast, is the main objective of this course.

   C. Course Goal:

Through marine conservation planning projects, enabling students to understand Taiwan hydrodynamic characteristics of surrounding sea areas and coastal development. In both coastal preservation, ecological maintenance and thinking of the hydrophilic environment, learn coast rehabilitation planning and design methods.
